Every Friday evening, there is a gathering of old cars at the Town Square in Friday. I’ve taken the 1966 Chevy Corvair and the 1982 Jaguar XJ-S in years past. But tonight was the first time I’ve taken the 1990 Jaguar Sovereign. It really is a neat looking car if you look past the few rust spots. And once I lifted the front hinged hood, people started walking over to take a look. That always creates a good feeling when people are interested in what interests you.
There were a number of other interesting cars including a 1983 Ford Mustang GT 5.0, 60’s Buick Gran Sport convertible, and an Edsel. By the time we got there, some of the cars were leaving, but we still had about 40 cars to look at. It’s also enjoyable to talk to the owners to hear what they have done to their machine. Everyone has a story to tell.
