Volvo is finally back in the leasing business!
Since I started in 2008, it has been rather difficult to lease a Volvo at a competitive monthly payment. BMW seemed to always have a better deal that we couldn’t compete with. But now Volvo Car Finance is back in business and is offering monthly payments that in most cases are about $50/mo less expensive than what was offered last month. For instance, a nicely equipped 2013 Volvo XC90 3.2 AWD with leather seats, roof, Bluetooth, etc., would have leased for 36 x $593* last month. Under Volvo Car Finance, the same vehicle leases for 36 x $526* plus taxes and fees. That’s a change of $67 per month! Not bad at all.
Of course, the other big deal is the ability to lease a car with $0 due at delivery. When’s the last time you heard Volvo offer something like that? The examples listed below are the cheapest deals possible. Note that the XC90 is FWD and the MSRPs on all three are rock bottom. But I still say that these deals are much better than we have seen in a long time.
