This is one of the GM mid-size cars from the middle 1970’s. I’m fairly certain it’s the Buick Skyhawk, right around 1976. My first cousin had one of the “Nighthawk” variants from this series when they were new. The Nighthawk was a paint/graphics package that made the car appear more sporty, but if memory serves it still had the same old same old everywhere else. These were the bad old times in Detroit — a time where a 3-speed slushbox was all you got, and, if you were lucky, your V6 didn’t sputter and cough at the first sight of 87 octane.
That’s a ’75 Chevy Monza 2+2. Loved ’em when new…somewhat rare in ’75 with a V8; pretty-much Vega-sized outside. Thought they were waayyyyyy cooler than the same year Mustang II. I had two high school friends with new ones with V8’s in ’75…loved riding/driving in both.
A chevy monza?
