It’s no secret that I have a fondness for station wagons, vans, and school buses. So, when Hemmings Motor Blog posted this interesting flash back article about Mystery Car 75, I had to use it. The original post showed the rear view of the wagon. Look close enough and you quickly recognize that it is a Cadillac. But when did Cadillac make a station wagon? The truth is that in 1956, Cadillac didn’t offer a wagon. Instead, this was a limited production conversion by Hess and Eisenhardt of Cincinnati, Ohio. The end results was called a 1956 Cadillac Custom View Master station wagon.
