This beautiful 1984 Jaguar XJ-S V12 HE caught my attention as I was driving back from lunch break a few days ago. It was parked at O’Brien’s repair shop on Vine St. The customer purchased it non-running and gave it to the shop to fix. Unfortunately for the car’s new owner, this car had been sitting for ten years! The fuel is gunked up and there is gas in the oil. It’s not the best situation, but it still looks good after all these years. I hope it gets back on the road soon. It’s a shame that many of the Jags were destroyed during the Cash for Clunkers travesty. I get the idea that cars should get better gas mileage, but is it worth destroying a work of art to make that point? Not in my opinion.
