If given the opportunity, would a Volvo dealership want to sell Geely models in their showrooms? That is the question addressed by Chris Shunk in a recent Autoblog article. I have mixed emotions about the possibility. If Leikin were able to sell these vehicles, I’m not sure having them in the same showroom would be a good idea—especially if the cars are not noted for safety. To mix poor quality, unsafe vehicles with a brand that is known for long lasting, extremely safe vehicles would not be a good idea. On the other hand, if we were able to sell them as a separate, high volume brand, it might make sense to add a fourth brand to Leikin Motor Companies. Time will tell if we even get that opportunity.
