It took a few days, but the SAAB is finally home. I left home at 7:30 this morning and Lou’s Tire had the used tires on the car before 8:30 am. The car got cleaned up a little at the end of the day and it’s looking pretty good. But the real test was how it would handle on the highway between the dealership and home. Happily, there were no problems. The car had no problem getting up to 65 mph on I-90. As nice as that is, I’m not going to push it too hard until I know what the car needs. It would be foolish to push the car hard and blow a radiator hose or CV joint. Still … all smiles so far.
