2010 Orange Track Gravity Games

After a nice Christmas celebration at my parent’s home, our families went over to my brother’s house for the first ever Orange Track Gravity Games. Using orange plastic Hotwheels track, we raced against each other to see whose car would win it all! I brought along a couple of my favorite Hotwheels cars: a Porsche 914, a Citroen DS, and a Volvo P1600S which my sister and brother-in-law got me for Christmas. The Porsche turned out to be the best of the bunch making it into the final round.

But it only won 2 out of four races in the semi-finals. However, my daughter Katie made it to the finals beating my sister Laura for the first pick out of the prize box. We had such a good time, that I’d like to acquire some track and do it at home.

After the championship, we added a loop to each track and raced a few times for fun. In the video are the red Volvo P1600S and the green Porsche 914. My mother raced an ambulance down the loop track and made it! Dad didn’t make it so well with his Dodge race car. It made it to the top of the loop and fell down. In any event, we had a great time.
